Kristin Beck was appointed Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, in January 2019. In this role, she oversees all safety, employee, operational and performance aspects of the US supply chain and logistics, consisting of 103 owned and operated terminal operations, order to cash, demand planning to fulfillment, customer service, and marine, road, and rail logistics. She is a member of the US Cement Executive Committee, reporting to the CEO, and a board member of the Waterways Council and National Waterways Foundation. Ms. Beck previously served at Dow Chemical Company, as Director, North American Logistics since 2014. While at Dow, she created and implemented many industry-wide ground breaking programs including a human trafficking prevention program and zero tolerance miss-delivery program that is being adapted by other industry leaders. Prior to her position at Dow, she held roles of increasing responsibility, in the fields of supply chain and logistics management, government affairs, environmental health safety sustainability, manufacturing, commercial, quality and engineering. Ms. Beck is a proud supporter of the American Chemistry Council and TRANSCEAER®, a voluntary national outreach effort that focuses on assisting communities to prepare for and respond to a possible hazardous material transportation incident. She has served as conference speakers for organizations such as American Chemistry Council, Truckers Against Trafficking Industry, Dow Chemical Annual Core Carrier Conference and Dow Chemical Annual Safety Director Conference, among others. Ms. Beck received her Bachelor Degree in Industrial Science from Central Michigan University and is a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt. She holds certifications as QS/ ISO Quality Manager and Internal and External Auditor from the European Quality Association, as well as Apollo Root Cause Analysis from Effective Problem Solving, LLC.
